    What you should know about absolute pressure measurement

    Druck wird je nach Anwendung absolut oder relativ gemessen. Dabei bezieht sich jeder gemessene Druck auf einen Referenzwert. Beim Absolutdruck (Kennzeichnung: P abs) ist die Referenzgröße das absolute Vakuum (0 bar¬), was dem luftleeren Raum im Universum entspricht. Der von Wetter oder Höhe unabhängige Absolutdruck zeigt also die Differenz zum Vakuum. Ein Absolutdruckmessgerät besitzt drei Besonderheiten:

    1. Nur einen Schlauchanschluss.

    2. Zeigt ausschließlich positive Messwerte und kann nicht genullt werden.

    3. Ein eingeschlossenes Vakuum im Absolutdrucksensor (Referenzdruck).
