Flue gas analysis in industrial installations often need to be carried out in extreme conditions, involving high temperatures, high humidity, or a high dust content in the flue gas. Emission measurements are taken in resource- and energy-intensive processes, during which large quantities of emissions such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOX) or sulphur dioxide (SO2) are produced.
With a number of exhaust gas probes, sensors, and special options such as automatic dilution, or Peltier gas preparation, the Testo Analyzers are specially developed for extreme demands. Emission Analyser applications are included in industrial areas such as cogeneration plants, boiler plants, metal plants, gas turbines, engines, and mining. A testo Emission Analyzer is designed to withstand the intense conditions of these environments and to help you take accurate readings regardless of conditions.
Numerous measurement parameters: O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, CO2, H2S
Extensive selection of probes
Fast access to sensors and wearing parts
Data management via software
When analyzing the burner’s behavior, the focus of attention is often on fuel supply, atomization, control behavior, and emissions values.
Testo Combustion Analyzers enable all relevant gases to be analyzed and the combustion process to be adjusted so that the best possible ratio of fuel to air quantities are achieved.

Precise sensors and intuitive operation – robustly packaged.
The testo 350 exhaust gas analyzer impresses with its ease of maintenance and is ideal for use in demanding environments. It consists of a removable control unit – the operating and display unit of the testo 350 – and a robust analysis box. The pre-calibrated gas sensors can be changed or expanded directly on site without test gas calibration, so that measurements can continue immediately after a sensor change. If the filter material is used up, only the filter needs to be changed without replacing the entire sensor. The condensate container can be easily removed and emptied. Thanks to the service cover on the underside of the device, all relevant wearing parts, such as filters and pumps, are easily accessible and can be cleaned or replaced by the user themselves.
Control Unit
Controls the analysis box, guides the user safely through the measurement and displays the measured values.
Analysis box
With shock-protected sensors, pumps, evaluation and storage electronics
Graphic color display with application-specific menu navigation
Guides you through the measurement and provides information about the device status. Information is provided in plain text and the current status of the exhaust gas analyzer is always displayed.
Industrial grade connections
Through robust mechanical plug connections.
Automatically monitored condensate trap
Reports when the condensate container needs to be emptied and automatically stops the measuring gas pump to protect the sensors from condensate.
Dirt Filter
Are easily accessible and can be changed without tools.
Thermally decoupled sensor chamber
Reduces sensor drifts due to thermal influences, increases the reliability of the measuring device and the measurement results.
External cooling circuit
Isolates the device electronics and sensors from the ambient air. The interior of the device is cooled by a heat exchanger and does not come into contact with contaminated ambient air.
Easily accessible service openings
Allow easy access to all relevant service and wear parts such as pumps and filters, which can then be quickly cleaned or replaced on site.
Easy replacement of gas sensors
Can be carried out directly on site without test gas calibration.
The analysis box can be equipped with up to six gas sensors. Five of these gas sensors are optionally available, so you can freely choose between sensors for CO, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S, CxHy or CO2.
Filter
When the filter material is used up, only the filter needs to be replaced, not the entire sensor. This can easily be done by the user themselves.

Flue gases contain CO2, CO, oxides, soot particles, as well as other hazardous materials. These pollute the environment, have a negative effect on climate, and pose numerous health risks for human beings. Flue gas analysis with testo Combustion Analyzers help make combustion measurement more efficient, to optimize thermal processes, and above all, reduce emissions.
Protection of the atmosphere thanks to as low a pollutant level as possible
Efficient energy use
Adherence to prescribed pollutant levels per exhaust gas volume and energy loss
In the measurement of fine particles, whether you are a chimneysweep or a heating fitter, the instruments eliminate the need for any further instructions. You can obtain very accurate and reliable data with the instrument. The design of Testo's products means they can be used for all fuel classes. In this respect, the A, B and C fuel classes are covered. In addition, there are limit values which have to be complied with and that can be displayed by a flue gas analyzer. Levels 1 and 2 can also be detected using the instruments.
If you establish that the particulate matter exposure is too high, depending on the instrument, you can also use a leak detector.
Fast system analysis
Rapid detection of leaks
Incredible measurement accuracy
One of the smoke count measurements is the degree of blackening. It is possible to use your testo Soot Meter at different operating locations. This particulate meter can carry out direct analysis, which is important in terms of ensuring correct data. It is of particular importance when it comes to controlling diesel motors, as the occurrence of emissions should be avoided. Injection can also be adjusted on a diesel engine to reduce the emission of soot.
This is especially important so that you have the data readily available. This is extremely important when testing diesel engines. This way, the occurrence of emissions is prevented. A diesel engine’ injection can also be adjusted in order to reduce the soot emission.
Testo's range of combustion instrumentation are also suitable for industrial use. It is therefore unimportant whether the diesel engines you wish to test are in vehicles, industrial plants, or on ships. Measurement systems no longer need to be installed on site. This is a crucial cost saving.
