  1. Accurate Moisture Measurement – Precisely measures moisture content in wood, cement, plaster, mortar, brickwork, and screed.
  2. Environmental Monitoring – Measures air temperature (-10˚C to 50˚C) and humidity (0 to 100% RH) for assessing storage and drying conditions.
  3. User-Friendly Design – Backlit digital display for visibility in all lighting conditions and Hold function to freeze readings.
  4. Dew Point & Wet Bulb Calculation – Helps identify condensation risks and optimise drying conditions.
  5. The testo 606-2 Pocket Moisture Meter is a versatile and professional tool that combines moisture measurement with temperature and humidity monitoring. Designed for woodworking, construction, and storage facilities, it features pre-set characteristic curves for various wood species and building materials, ensuring precise readings. The addition of dew point and wet bulb calculations makes it an essential device for checking drying and storage conditions. If you need both moisture measurement and environmental monitoring this product is perfect for you.
The testo 606-2 Pocket Moisture Meter is a multi-functional, compact, and highly reliable tool for measuring moisture content in wood and building materials, as well as monitoring air temperature and humidity. This combination allows users to assess material conditions, check drying processes, and prevent moisture-related issues in storage and construction environments.

The device utilises twin ram electrodes to penetrate materials 4 to 5mm deep, providing highly accurate moisture readings. The characteristic curves for different wood species and building materials allow the moisture content to be displayed directly as a weight percentage based on dry mass.

Beyond just moisture measurement, the Testo 606-2 also functions as a thermohygrometer, measuring air temperature (-10ËšC to 50ËšC) and relative humidity (0 to 100% RH). Additionally, it calculates the dew point and wet bulb temperature, allowing users to identify potential moisture problems, prevent condensation, and optimise drying conditions.

The user-friendly design includes an illuminated digital display, data hold function, and simple three-button operation, making it easy to use in any environment. It is rugged and portable, with a protective cap, belt holder, and hand strap for added durability. The 130-hour battery life ensures long-lasting performance, and its IP20 ingress protection rating provides reliable operation in demanding conditions.
