Image quality with IR resolution of 240 x 180 pixels (with testo SuperResolution technology 480 x 360 pixels)
Image quality with IR resolution of 240 x 180 pixels (with testo SuperResolution technology 480 x 360 pixels)
The testo 871s Thermal Imaging Camera is designed for professionals who need high-resolution thermal imaging, smart connectivity, and precision measurement integration. With an infrared resolution of 240 x 180 pixels (boosted to 480 x 360 pixels with SuperResolution technology), this camera captures sharp, detailed thermal images, making it ideal for HVAC, electrical, and building inspections.
Equipped with a wide temperature measurement range (-30°C to 650°C) and 80mK thermal sensitivity, the testo 871s detects even the smallest temperature differences, allowing for accurate diagnosis of insulation defects, electrical faults, and mechanical issues. The wide 35˚ x 26˚ field of view ensures fast and efficient inspections over large areas.
The testo 871s is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing for seamless data transfer and real-time report generation via the testo Thermography App (available for iOS and Android). The app provides: Live second display on a smartphone or tablet, Remote camera operation and On-site report creation and sharing.
Additionally, the testo 871s connects via Bluetooth to the testo 770-3 Clamp Meter and testo 605i Thermohygrometer. The testo 770-3 allows you to capture electrical current and voltage data for comprehensive system analysis. the testo 605i allows you to record ambient temperature and humidity conditions for advanced building diagnostics and automatically detect mould risk using the humidity traffic light function.
The testo ScaleAssist and testo É›-Assist features optimise colour scale settings and emissivity adjustments, ensuring consistent, error-free, and objective thermal images. Automatic hot/cold spot detection instantly identifies critical temperature variations. The IFOV warning system prevents measurement errors by displaying the correct measurement spot size in real-time.
A built-in digital camera allows users to capture both thermal and visual images simultaneously, making analysis and reporting easier. Images and videos can be saved to the 2.8GB internal memory and transferred via USB or WLAN for further processing.
testo 871s thermal imager with radio module for Bluetooth/WLAN, USB cable, mains unit, lithium-ion rechargeable battery, pro software IRSoft (free download), 3 x testo ε-Markers, commissioning instructions, short instructions, calibration protocol and case.
Ideal for the early identification of imminent malfunctions or defects on plants and machines: Reliably record temperature increases with a thermal imager.
Fast detection of critical thermal status (so-called HotSpots) during continuing operation
Avoid expensive damage, downtimes and fire risks on plants and machines
Electrical maintenance
Test switching cabinets, electrical conditions, photovoltaic plants
Evaluate heat status in low, medium and high voltage plants
Mechanical maintenance
Identify wear on machines
Test motors, bearings, shafts
Detecting structural defects and ensuring construction quality
Detect potential building defects, prove quality and the implementation of construction measures without contact – with the help of thermal images
Test air-tightness of windows and doors
Locate insulation errors and cold bridges in a building shell
Detect and visualize mould-risk areas
Preventing mould formation
Localize mould-risk areas quickly and easily: These areas are presented in red in the imager display when the imager is in humidity mode
Easy checking of heating systems and installations
test heating and air conditioning/ventilation systems: Use a thermal imager to identify irregularities in the temperature distribution quickly and easily
Localization of the course of heating loops in underfloor heating systems
Testo radiators for silting
Measure flow and return temperatures
Localize pipe ruptures
Reliably determine pipe ruptures with the help of a thermal imager – without unnecessarily opening walls and floors
Precise localization of leakages in underfloor heating and other inaccessible pipe systems
Locating leaks in flat roofs
Detection of damp in roofs: Based on temperature differences (such as occur mainly in flat roofs), thermal imagers show areas on the roof with sealed-in moisture or damaged insulation
In order to be able to use the PC software optimally, the instrument should also be updated with the latest version of the instrument firmware. Please note: For the Firmware upgrade the current IRSoft is essential.
