  5. Proven technology meets revolutionary operation. The testo 330i flue gas analyzer was specifically developed to help you to overcome all the obstacles you meet when servicing and commissioning heating systems.  
    The testo 330i flue gas analyzer is an advancement of the testo 330 LL flue gas analyzer. Its proven measuring technology is once again at the heart of the testo 330i. This means that you can rely on highly accurate results when measuring flue gas, draught and O2 supply air. The testo 330i also has the following impressive features:
    • User-replaceable long-life sensors with a service life of up to 6 years
    • Successful TÜV inspection according to the 1st German Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV) and EN 50379, Parts 1-3
    • ntegrated draught and gas zeroing. This means that the probe does not have to be removed from the flue gas duct for the zeroing
    • Fresh air dilution up to 30,000 ppm upon exceeding a CO threshold value
    The new testoFix probe holder is available as an accessory, so the flue gas probe is guaranteed not to lose the centre of flow once it has been found. This can be attached to the pipe quickly and easily. It holds the probe in the centre of flow and also serves as a fall-proof suspension system for the testo 330i flue gas analyzer. Incidentally, the hose between probe and measuring instrument is lighter and more flexible than before.

    The future of flue gas measuring technology

    The testo 330i no longer has a display. How do you make the correct adjustments to the flue gas analyzer? Where can you view the readings? What about the creation of measurement protocols? Via the testo 330i App on your smartphone. The readings are transferred from the testo 330i flue gas analyzer to the App via Bluetooth. So you always have the relevant values to hand whenever you need them. This is particularly useful when faced with larger systems or awkward measuring points as there is no need to look around corners, which can be annoying. The measurement parameters can also be set intuitively, via the App. Once you have completed the measurement, you can add comments or photos of the system to the results on site, and send them to your customer or the office via e-mail.

    Flue gas analysis and flue gas measurement

    The testo 330i flue gas analyzer features two user-replaceable long-life sensors for measuring O2 and CO. An NO sensor can be added optionally. Flue gas and draught can be measured in parallel using the testo 330i – so you can see all the key values simultaneously in the testo 330i App on your smartphone or tablet.

    O2 supply air measurement

    In balanced flue systems, is there perhaps a leak in the flue gas system? Use the testo 330i flue gas analyzer to find out: simply measure the O2 content of the combustion air in the dual wall clearance. This way, you can ensure that no flue gas is getting into the combustion air supply. This prevents damage due to condensate or impairment of the combustion process.

    Differential pressure measurement

    Measure the gas flow and gas resting pressure on gas boilers to ensure that the system can be commissioned properly. You can also use the data specified by the manufacturer for the nozzle pressure to tailor the appliance output to the actual heat requirement.

    • Testo ZIV driver in the 2000 version. The Testo ZIV driver is used to connect the testo 320 and testo 330 measuring instruments to an application program (sweeping district administration program) according to the interface Version 2.0 defined by the Zentralverband des Schornsteinfegerhandwerks (Central Association of Chimney Sweeps, ZIV). Please check with the manufacturer of your application program as to whether this interface is supported. If Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 has not been installed on the computer, it must be downloaded from the Microsoft website and installed on the system.
    • The Testo ZIV driver is used to connect the testo 300, testo 320 and testo 330 measuring instruments to an application program (sweeping district administration program) according to the interface defined by the Zentralverband des Schornsteinfegerhandwerks (ZIV, Central Association of Chimney Sweeps) in version 1.0 of 01. August 2012, in version 2.0 of 13. February 2017 as well as version 3.0 from 02. July 2021. Please check with the manufacturer of your application program as to whether this interface is supported.

      If the firmware update does not start under Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, a new bootloader must be installed on the measuring device once.
